After the Victim Advocate has assessed the unique individual needs and concerns the Victim Advocate provides support, services and referrals. The Victim Advocate can help members of the community who have been victimized by helping them with:

  • Safety Plan Development
  • Personal Advocacy
  • Referrals to Community Resources such as counseling, support groups and resources
  • Provides updates on the status of their criminal case
  • Assists in filing for Victims of Crime Compensation
  • Assist in filing for a Temporary Protection Order or Stalking Order
  • Informs the Victim of Victim’s Rights
